Hump Day...

Well, it's hump day, and it feels like it. It seems like today should be FRIDAY..yes please!
This last weekend was pretty full and pretty great...just too short. Mother's Day was nice, went to two BBQ's and spent good time with friends. I only managed to take one picture however and of course..it's me and Karen.
And actually that's a lie...I did take more but they were deleted because I looked like Jaba the hut. This is the only one that was salvagable.
Anyway, we jumped on Joe and Kathy's trampoline like we were 10 forever and that was pretty fun.
Monday night was my second softball game. Ready for a good but sad story? Ok...so the other team had this lady that was wearing...are you ready for this?? Spandex that were the equivalent to daisy dukes (see photo)
This pic is the best I can do but honestly, she was alot bigger and it was not OK to be wearing this shorts at the game.......or EVER.
Anyway, after being super distracted by that most of the game, right at the end, she was running to third base and fell after being tagged out. Well she wasn't getting up and then started moaning and screaming like crazy..broke her ankle. And it was the kind you don't even want to look at...totally turned in a direction that isn't natural and it was not good. Naturally, I felt extreme guilt since in the privacy of my own mind I had been berrating her for dressing in the dukes. We had to call 911 and the medics came and got her.
Last night was the best night..the only free night I have this week so I had to make the most of it. I am dog/house sitting for Kim again up on hillside (you remember ball licking dogs and bears..previous story) and the weather has been so amazing here. I went up, sat on the deck and soaked in the sun for about an hour before I decided to clean my car inside and out. I can't tell you when this was last done and it was a project. It's funny how when your car is detailed and lookin good how much you love it all over again.
