Party Hardy...

Well, this weekend was a party that we have been planning for weeks. It was Jenny's husband's surprise 40th. Now, Jen has a 5300 sq foot house and let me tell you...none of it was ready Saturday morning when I got there. There was about 7 or 8 of us desperately trying to get cleaned and decorated in a matter of hours. Did you hear what I said?? 5300 sq feet?!?! I was breaking a sweat, dirty and grimy, and party was the last thing I could imagine. None the less, we did it in time. We were all ready by 6pm, people started arriving and when he got there, it was priceless. There was more food than at Granny's buffet and music that shook the neighborhood...good thing the neighbors were over. We salsa danced, did the electric slide, and ate like kings..couldn't have been better. Yesterday I laid around all day and I'm ok with that...I did household chores and was as lazy as could be..although I made the best dinner. For who you ask? ME...that's right, just ME. I had a date with myself and it was perfect. I didn't even need to get out of my sweats for it!
