It was a short trip back home to Seattle for a Division Meeting for work... We got in Wednesday night and we ate enough Thai food for a smal third world country, power shopped at Southcenter since the shopping in Anchorage is as good as shopping in Moses Lake, WA. We hit the jacuzzi, ate some ice cream and went to bed. Got up the next day and had our meeting, met up with some old friends whom I miss working with so much, then headed for the airport back home. You know...the short trips home are the way to go really...I don't miss the rain and as much as I miss family and friends..Anchorage is such a sweet place of solace for me. Off for a fun weekend around town, I'll catch you up on Monday!
My life is full of stories that my friends love for me to share and usually are hysterical at my expense. But hey..whatever it takes to make people laugh right? My life has been nothing short of a good adventurous book that at times you can't put down, good laughs, tears, and so much more. I live up in the great North where the saying "the odds are good, but the goods are odd" rings too true. I came from the Seattle area where I have lived most of my life and while there is a vast difference between the two, there is a serenity I find here that I have never had back home. I love my family deeply, love friends ferociously, and love God more than words can describe. Welcome to my blog..happy reading friends..
