....If you like constant volcanic ash where you live....any hands??? I didn't think so. Mine is not raised either..seriously????? Mt. Redoubt is having issues. It keeps blowing, the city is on constant alert. This weekend I was shopping in Fred Meyer (enjoying myself might I add as I have mentioned before on my blog) when I get a call from my friend saying can you believe the ash coming down?! Now, when I went into Freddy's moments earlier it was blue sky and sunny! I was like HUH??? NO, there isn't any here on the East side of town..she says well it's coming, it's falling here on the South side like crazy. I quickly load up and leave(Heading in the South direction home) and sure enough it's like a sandstorm up ahead is the best I can describe. The sun started to look brownish gray and I started to feel panick sort of! I got home and of course without cable and internet just sat like a sitting duck. Thank goodness for Crackberry! Side note..Ash smells like Sulphur..Sulphur is nasty..like egg farts..nasty. Imagine that smell furmiating your home for days...mmmm, goody.
This morning, the Volcano blows again twice and now ash is supposed to be on it's way. More goodness...Here are some recent pics, enjoy!
