Back in the land of the living...

It feels like I haven't blogged in a year. It also feels like I just came through the warp zone from another world! I was so sick with Strep Throat right after my mom got here a couple weeks ago and then just when I should have been getting better, it turned into Bronchitis. UGH! I hate being sick..of course I have yet to meet anyone that says they love it.
Even though I was sick, while my mom and sister were here, we did get to do some sight seeing around town and some shopping of course. First, before I got sick, was my friend Jenny's birthday. We went over for one of the best meals I've ever had. Jen's mom is an exceptional cook and made it. The pic below is her mom, my friend Jen, me, my mom, and Jen's sister.
Then, my sissy came up and by that time I was super sick. The day we went out to see the sights I was sicker than a dog as you can see from the pics..puffy face and just pure ugliness!
I probably got sicker from just laughing at my sister cause quite honestly when we start laughing..it's over. My chest and throat were throbbing after a few laughing bouts with that idiot.

Anyway, they left and then last week came the bronchitis. I had to cancel going to Seattle to watch my friend's kids and that was so sad. I had been so looking forward to seeing them and spending some time with them only to find out I couldn't go :( I spent most of last week just in bed and trying desperately to get rid of that sick smell and taste you get when you are sick. You know the one..it's miserable! So, today is my first day back in the mix and I have to say it's so nice to be back in the land of the living...Baydo's back
