Two weeks of vacation...

It goes by so much faster than I would like it to. Here it is...my last day off. Tomorrow it's back to work. UGH...I feel feverish.
Well it started off in Seattle at Bruce and Sandy's for an amazing 4th of July. For three days straight, we had perfect weather, perfectly mixed drinks, and perfect company. I think we were there for the only 3 days of summer Seattle has seen this year. Anyway, it was a ton of fun and after a perfect start to our vacation, off we went to Montana. First stop was my mom's in Billings. It was almost 100 degrees everyday and for the first time in my life, I was not enjoying it. I guess I've acclamated to AK cause I felt like a vampire getting scorched in the sun after 30 seconds. It was great to see my mom and my two nieces were there so I got to spend some good time with them too. Moving on to Darby...we stayed with my friend Summer whom I was desperate for some good quality time with. We did some major relaxing and some sight seeing. The only bad thing was that my allergies were so bad there...I thought my head might pop right off, not cool. We then headed back to Seattle to pick up Alecia's kids and take them back to AK for a week. Everyday was an adventure of some sort and a gentle reminder that I LOVE to borrow my friend's kids....and then give them back. As great as they are, I think I've grown rather selfish in my young aging life. I just don't think I want the responsibility of kids for 18 years...a week is good here and there. I just got them home last night and now it's one day of preparing for the inevitable...back to work. I make it sound like it's doom...it's not. I just really like vacation...
