getaway. One of my friend's family lives there so we went up and stayed with
her family. We had a Chinese Hot Pot which is the food picture above. It's
where you have all this marinated, uncooked food and you cook it as you eat. It
was pretty cool, I've never done anything like that in a house before. Then
Sunday, we headed up to Chena Hot Springs. This is right up there in the top
five amazing things I've done. Right up there with the kayaking through the
icebergs in Valdez. You can see the picture above, it was -15 outside and the
steam was so thick that you couldn't see 10 feet in front of you. I included a
picture of EXACTLY what my hair and face looked like (minus the mustache and
beard of course) so you can see what happens. It was NUTS! (disclaimer.. I do
not know that man in the pic, just pulled him off the internet so you could see
what it looked like)
I must have laid in that water for hours..I felt like a new person. Can't wait
to go back!
