Today was the first full day of enjoying Montana like I do...and I DO it well. However..throw in a snotty little sister who clearly has unresolved bitterness, anger, and a gene thread I strongly believe only people who go on Jerry Springer have...and it's gets a little more complicated. Boy that was a mouthful eh? I could go on but I think I'll get to the good stuff...I woke up to the smell of Bacon..and while I don't consider myself part canine..I felt like one this morning when I burned rubber in the carpet trying to get to the kitchen before everyone else. Of course there was french toast to go with what I consider the main dish...BACON. We loaded up and headed for some U.S. history. We stopped by Pompey's Pillar where Clark (Lewis and Clark for those who didn't pass the 3rd grade) camped and carved his name in this huge pillar rock that over looks the land for miles in every direction. Then, we headed for Little Bighorn Battlefield where Colonel Custar fought a major battle with the Indians and died in the infamous last stand. It was pretty amazing to soak all of it in and we had some fun while trying to honor some history.
On to day two...I'm optimistic that by the end of the day my sweet little sister will have her hair pulled super hard...
